Research consistently shows that the silent, teacher-centered classroom does not create the best learning conditions for bilingual learners. In this workshop, you’ll learn several state-of-the-art language-based scaffolds that invite bilingual learners to the conversational table, and we’ll do it through role play activities and designing classroom dialogue scripts. This workshop is just as powerful for teachers as it is for school leaders who want to know what good bilingual classrooms sound like.
